THE LEADING TASTEMAKERS IN MUSIC | FASHION | ART | LIFESTYLE
For those who have seen the Suicide Squad teaser trailer that Warner Bros had released not too long ago, you were probably wondering what kind of ride The Joker was driving. It was that one scene where the Batmobile was chasing The Joker and Harley Quinn where you had noticed the colorful purple exotic sportscar with underglow lights that brought you flashbacks of scenes from the Fast & Furious films.

So what kind of car did the Clown Prince of Crime drive? Was it a Lamborghini? How about a Ferrari? Well the car isn't as exotic as you thought it would be and if you did attend the SEMA Show in 2014 as well as this year's show in 2015, you may have seen this car but you didn't realize it until now. It is revealed that The Joker's car is actually a modified custom 2003-2006 Infiniti G35 coupe called the Vaydor G35. Vaydor Bodykits LLC are the creative minds behind this widebody conversion of the Infiniti G35. So how much would you have to invest if you wanted to convert your Infiniti into a "Vaydor G35"? Well, if you have $30,000 to $50,000 saved in the bank AND you currently own that third generation coupe, you can make that dream come true. The whole design concept isn't all that bad and to own a unique kit car that was built for an iconic villain will make you the coolest kid on the block. According to the designer, the custom RWD build DOES NOT require any sort of stretching the chassis (stock wheelbase), nor the cutting of any wiring, modification to any major mechanical parts. You will still retain all of the stock components of the vehicle including power windows, locks, air conditioning, cruise, tilt, ABS, traction control, etc.) (Photo Below via Vaydor Exotics)
The engine of the Vaydor G35 is the VQ35DE, a 3.5 liter V6 engine. Its position is a front-midship engine, rear-wheel drive layout to achieve a 52% front/48% rear weight distribution. In stock form the engine produces 261-298 horsepower which varies depending on the year and the manual or automatic transmission versions. eMa Motorworks has built a Twin Turbo engine for the Vaydor G35 version which can go over 1000HP whp with the use of the Darton MID sleeve kit (www.eMa-Motorworks.com).
How fast is the Vaydor G35? (via VaydorExotics.com)
In Stock Tune it's about 0-60 5.3 seconds
In Minimum eMa Motorworks Certified Tune (we'll explain later) 0-60 is about 3.2 seconds
Anything more than that is up to how far you're willing to push it and tune it.
Keep in mind that a stock Corvette is 4.1 seconds
At 3,073 lbs (without driver), the G35 WideBody can achieve a 0-60 time of 3.2 seconds and a 1/4 mile time of 11.5 seconds with 400whp.
