After having a successful run at this year's SEMA Show in Las Vegas, JDM Sport is already in full swing for their 2016 schedule of events. Whether if the brand is at the next car show or even on the track, the JDM Sport Nation of enthusiasts continues to grow within every facet of the Japanese tuner and lifestyle car culture. Each and every one of JDM Sport's performance products goes through intense inspection and vigorous testing until it is up to the highest of quality to put into market for consumers. That is where their continued testing of JDM Sport performance products on the track is being reinforced with their knowledgeable team of drivers. Now with the addition of sponsored female drivers Denise Llamas and Stephanie Rodriguez, the JDM Sport brand expands its footprint even further into the world of drifting motorsports.

It was only a few years ago at the SEMA Show that JDM Sport unveiled their 32-Way adjustable coilover systems into the market having been given great reviews from tuner enthusiasts within the Scion FR-S/Subaru BRZ communities as well as the Hyundai Genesis Coupe platforms; expanding into over 200+ applications for the suspension line. JDM Sport sponsored female driver Melissa Miller has been vigorously testing JDM Sport's 32-Way adjustable coilovers at the Auto Club/Irwindale Speedways this year in her Nissan 350z. From road racing to drifting and drift demos for the public, JDM Sport suspension continues to improve over time.

Not only has their suspension have gotten great reviews but also improvements to their turbo chargers, and steering wheels have undergone performance testing the past few years. Their forged aluminum and neo-chrome steel lug nuts have also proven its performance on the track. Brendan Garvey from CamArt in Arizona has seen performance results firsthand using JDM Sport's aluminum lug nuts on his Toyota AE86 build at NASA events. Sponsored Formula Drift driver Forrest Wang has had much success with JDM Sport's neo-chrome steel lug nuts qualifying within every round and finishing in the top 5 of the Formula D circuit in his 2JZ powered Nissan S14 build. JDM Sport is excited and thrilled to have the addition of Stephanie and Denise added to their roster of drivers.

It is with their team's knowledge, passion, experience, and feedback that will help JDM Sport develop quality performance products for tuners to enjoy while on the road or on the track! Included in this feature is our catch up interviews with JDM Sport's new sponsored female drivers Stephanie Rodriguez and Denise Llamas. We also had the chance to catch up with our good friend Melissa Miller for some updates! She has recently announced that herself, Denise and Stephanie have formulated their own team of drivers! This triple threat of drift girls call themselves "TriAngle" and we are excited to hear more about these talented females who have so much love for the car culture. They are truly an inspiration for females looking to get into motorsports as JDM Sport is thrilled to have them be a part of the family! When did you start getting into cars? When I was 3 and I would sit on my dads lap in his 80's turbo Z and he would teach me to shift gears and steer the car... In our neighborhood.
How did you get into drifting? Drag racing got boring
What do you like most about drifting? The fact that you are always evolving your techniques.
What was your first car? 1998 Nissan Maxima. 5 speed. Underglow. It was pimp.
What is your dream car? 1970's Porsche 911.
How do you like the car scene here in Southern California? Honestly I don't like it as much as events on the east coast. I'm glad to be part of the scene in SoCal, but I feel more a sense of community outside of here. Don't get me wrong, I have my car friends and my drift girls here and we are like a little community, but outside of people you already know-it's hard to make friends because everyone is into what they are doing and don't say hi.
What are your future plans? Get the Z32 running for a complete season without issue and drift the shit out of it.
Describe to us what would be your ideal first date: Private track day.
All guys like girls who love cars! What do you look for in a guy? Someone who can let me be me and not be the jealous type.
What advice would you give to aspiring tuner girls? Stick with it. Whatever it is. If you keep changing your mind on what you want it doesn't give you much credibility. Don't do it for the guys do it for you.
