THE LEADING TASTEMAKERS IN MUSIC | FASHION | ART | LIFESTYLE
What a great turnout it was at the Irwindale Event Center as the Octane Festival presented by Krispy Kreme Tuesdays made its inaugural debut for the first time. Early birds arrived on time this past Sunday as the event staff coordinated the logistics of getting in all the cars and vendors including Eibach Springs, Vape Panda, The Real Runners, AA Autoworks, JDM Sport to name a few. It was a melting pot of vehicles displayed at Irwindale as Firm400 media will be bringing you several shots of SoCal's rides including our good friend Glen Villanueva with his JDM Sport x Firm400 SEMA sponsored Honda S2K build. Owner of Long Beach Auto-Tech, we spotted Villanueva checking in early for the event with his red & gold beauty ready for display at Irwindale.
Krispy Kreme Tuesdays originated back in Burbank where tuners from all over Southern California would come out to showcase their cars and enjoy each other's company while supporting local businesses and of course Krispy Kreme Donuts! Within the last few years, the meet eventually grew into a huge following of supporters and this is where the Octane Festival opened up its doors at Irwindale to continue the tradition of enthusiasts celebrating the automotive sub-culture in SoCal.
JDM Sport setup shop where we also had Team Daily Driven Revolution join us that day as well as having their SEMA sponsored S2K showcase with the crew. We also had the pleasure of having JDM Sport Vixen Alumni Miss Jamie Lynn making her appearance where she brought out her bike for display as well as Trevor's Blue Subie lined up around the tent. Jamie also helped us out filming with PhotoMD where she was hostess on the mic and of course modeling for cameras! Thanks to all media supporters who came out supporting the show! Stay tuned for more of Part 2 Coverage Coming Soon!! In the meantime, enjoy these shots when were busy working at the JDM Sport booth:
Chuy brought out his Firm400 x JDM Sport x Advanced JDM Parts sponsored Toyota Tacoma where he hooked us up with nice power generator!! DJ WZRD got set up and moved the crowd with his amazing mixing skills on the 1's and 2's.
The show would get more fun as Vape Panda, the Banksale, Indica clothing came out to support the Octane Festival sponsoring a few giveaways along with JDM Sport where they gave away their steering wheels. JDM Sport had a dance contest as well as the "Best Pickup Line" competition and the most pushups for tuners to take part in and win the sponsored giveaways. Thanks everyone who participated and supported the show!!
Thanks Izzy & Jamie for having us do some test shots!! Stay tuned for our shots of you ladies coming shortly!
